Meet Kenzi
Hi, I’m Kenzi, the brains behind Second Banana Studio.
I’m the photographer behind Second Banana Studio in St. George, Utah, making colorful, authentic, creative photos for families, couples, brands, headshots, and creative studio ideas across Southern Utah.
My favorite photos are the ones where you can recognize yourself: the real laugh, the kid who needs a minute, the business owner stepping into their brand, the concept that finally looks the way it felt in your head.
The experience
This will be more fun than you think.
If you feel awkward in front of the camera, you are exactly who I plan for. I will tell you where to stand, what to do with your hands, when to move, and when to stop performing and just be with your people.
With kids, I do not need perfect smiles on command. I am a mom of little boys, so I know how to give kids something real to do, follow their energy, and let the good stuff happen without forcing everyone into stiff poses.
Behind the camera, I am your hype girl and creative partner. I show up with a lot of authenticity and excitement, and my job is to help you show up that way too, so the final photos bring out the real you.

If you are looking to capture memories with your people, I am on board. If you need branding and headshots that feel like your real business instead of a stiff version of it, I am on board for that too.
If you have a creative idea, I want to help develop it. We can build a backdrop, bring in props, play with lighting in a blank studio space, or head somewhere local when the concept belongs outside.
I believe photos should feel lived-in, not over-managed. The best moments usually show up when people are allowed to be human.
I believe authenticity is not something I ask you to perform. It is something we make room for together, whether you are wrangling kids, launching a brand, celebrating a season, or trying a wild little idea because it sounds fun.
